Structural – CAD Technician
What you will be doing
- Developing, modifying, and/or reviewing drawings according to established standards
- Translating mark-ups into drawings
- Checking and plotting drawings
- Recommending minor design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion.
What we are looking for
- Experience in REVIT
- Experience in AutoCAD
- The ability to perform assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal to moderate supervision
- Considerable drafting/CADD skills are required to visualize and portray design features.
- Working knowledge of structural engineering technology (Architectural background acceptable)
- Effective communication, client management and interpersonal skills
- Must have effective organizational skills to design and manage projects simultaneously, completing the work within client guidelines and schedules for completion
- Thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented
- Self starter with the ability to work independently and as team
