Construction Services Project Coordinator

What you will be doing

  • Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
  • Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
  • Maintain records of change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs
  • Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
  • Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
  • Collect and log closeout documents and maintain punch lists
  • Schedule and supervise
  • Utilize the document control software proposed by the Project Team
  • Inspects and ensures that work is in compliance with governmental requirements/building codes and is completed per the approved architectural/engineering plans.
  • Ensure job site cleanliness, Safety and SWPPP compliance as required by State & Federal guidelines as well as TLF Policy.
  • Maintain safety logs and weekly SWPPP Inspection Reports
  • Ensure all work performed by Contractor meets the drawing contract documents
  • Plan and schedule all construction activities on projects from pre-construction activity to QA completion.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings
  • Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled

What we are looking for

  • 10-15 years of experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Relevant Management experience desired
  • Must possess organization skills by keeping daily schedules current; maintaining a timely and accurate flow of paperwork
  • Possess good time management skills. Is willing and able to handle a wide variety of tasks and demands in a timely manner
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Bluebeam/Adobe)
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Experience with Construction Cost Estimating.
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures of construction and building codes.
  • Experience with field and construction inspections.
  • Knowledge of Materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, piping, etc…) Testing Procedures
  • Completed or is able to complete the INDOT Certified Technician Program is a plus
  • Topographic Survey Experience is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
  • Valid Auto Insurance Coverage

What educational background you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
